BOARD CERTIFICATION CLASSES

Richard DeBoest, Esq., Lee-Anne Bosch, Esq., and John Trebilcock, Esq., will provide Community Association Managers and Directors with an understanding of the most relevant changes to Chapters 718 (Condominiums) and 719 (Cooperatives) passed during the 2025 legislative session. There were no changes to Chapter 720 (Homeowners’ Associations).

Our goal is to help association representatives understand how these updates impact their responsibilities and decision-making, and to provide them with the practical tools needed to implement the new legal requirements effectively.

This course is approved for credit for Directors and Community Association Managers.

This course provides Directors, managers, owners, and Association professionals with an understanding of the differences between the Association’s governing documents and the tools available to enforce them. Participants will learn about the hierarchy and function of key documents, including the Declaration, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations.

The course will also cover statutory requirements under Florida law, the amendment process, and the distinction between covenants and Board rules as it pertains to enforcement.
