Understanding the Association's Governing Documents & Tools for Compliance and Enforcement - Webinar Recording

This course provides Directors, managers, owners, and Association professionals with an understanding of the differences between the Association’s governing documents and the tools available to enforce them. Participants will learn about the hierarchy and function of key documents, including the Declaration, Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations.
The course will also cover statutory requirements under Florida law, the amendment process, and the distinction between covenants and Board rules as it pertains to enforcement.

The Board Certification class is designed for newly elected or appointed directors who need to comply with Florida’s certification requirements within 90 days of being elected or for current Board members who are looking for a refresher.
Along with a Certificate of Completion, those in attendance will receive relevant information to their fiduciary duties and how it relates to the operation of their community associations.
