Overview

John Trebilcock joined the firm in 2020, specializing in community association law.  Since then his practice has evolved into full service community association representation, including, but not limited to, covenant enforcement, litigation, drafting of opinion letters regarding the management and operation of the association, drafting amendments to governing documents, reviewing contracts, and preparing meeting packages for board and annual meetings.

Mr. Trebilcock represents community associations of all sizes, ranging from small to complex mixed-use associations. His experience in the Oklahoma Legislature gives him a unique skill set to navigate clients through the complexities of running a community association not just from the “legal” side but also the inevitable “politics” that arise in any shared use living arrangement. This experience also gives him insight into how clients can interface with public institutions and how to better run an orderly meeting and confidently follow parliamentary procedures.

Mr. Trebilcock considers his greatest professional accomplishment to be obtaining a law degree while teaching high school simultaneously,  a challenging experience which was fueled by his passion for the law and desire to advocate for those in need.
